Nutrons is a nutritional information platform that aggregates data from European nutritional databases and presents it using scoring methodologies adapted from published research. By using Nutrons, you agree to these terms.

Nutrons provides nutritional information for educational and informational purposes only. FoodCompass scores, nutrient breakdowns, and all other data presented on this platform are not medical, dietary, or health advice. They do not replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals. Do not make health decisions based solely on information from Nutrons.

Some features — including recipe analysis, flavor profiles, and nutrient summaries — use artificial intelligence to generate content. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors. We make reasonable efforts to ensure quality, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated outputs.

Nutritional data is sourced from public European databases (UK Composition of Foods, Danish FRIDA, Swiss Food Composition, and PhenolExplorer). While these are peer-reviewed sources, data may contain errors, omissions, or become outdated. Nutrons is not responsible for inaccuracies in source data.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used in ways that harm the service or other users.

Content you upload (such as recipe photos) remains yours. By uploading content, you grant Nutrons a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., analysing a recipe photo to return nutritional data). We do not claim ownership of your content.

Nutrons is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the service will meet your specific requirements. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nutrons and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to health outcomes, dietary decisions, or reliance on information provided.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Nutrons after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.
